Cathyann Alexander-Pierre is a seasoned Investment and Business Facilitator with over twenty years of experience advancing economic growth through strategic investment promotion, enterprise development, and policy reform. As Vice President of the Investment Promotion Agency at the Grenada Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), she leads national efforts to attract, facilitate, and retain investment across key sectors. Throughout her career, she has guided both local and foreign investors, contributing to the successful establishment of more than 250 businesses in diverse industries.
Cathyann’s expertise spans investment facilitation, business coaching, and policy advocacy, supported by strong market intelligence and sector insight. A committed advocate for improving the ease of doing business, she has played an active role in shaping national policy reforms and strengthening Grenada’s investment climate.
She also mentors and coaches small business owners, helping them unlock
opportunities for sustainable growth. Cathyann holds an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, and a BSc in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, along with certifications in Project Management, Business Coaching, and Training.
